The remotely controlled reusable target was designed specifically for military use – its speed and heat emission parameters correspond to those of real planes (helicopters and slow flying fixed-wing aero planes), which makes it perfect for military training. The first time the target was used for shooting simulation practice in Lithuania, when the air defense soldiers had the opportunity to train with Stinger missiles. The target drone has passed the technical qualification tests and meets all the speed, endurance, navigation, heat emission and radar reflection requirements. For this it has been tested in real conditions.

Other possible uses of T1 include arial photography/filming, eco-monitoring, forest fire monitoring, and intelligence. Additional equipment can be attached (up to 5 kg).

Right now an energy saving method is used to launch T1 – the devices take of from a platform mounted on a moving vehicle. A special launching catapult is currently being developed. The device is remotely controlled manually with the help of radiowaves, alternatively, it can operate on autopilot mode.

  • Drone interception and neutralization system
    The purpose of this remotely-controlled system is to prevent illegal drones from flying over restricted areas. In case a suspicious intrusive object is spotted, the BSNANS plane is launched either manually or with the help of the special catapult. As it gets closer to the suspicious object, it flashes warning lights and, if the object persists, the plane proceeds to the next step – neutralization. Depending on the situation, a Kevlar type cord may be used to disable the propeller, alternatively, the plane rams into the undesirable alien object, thus rendering it nonfunctional.

    The drone interception and neutralization system kit includes two drone neutralization devices, remote control, control goggles, extra batteries, charger, Drone Ban Kevlar set and a box.
